Ingredients
For the Pork:
2 pork tenderloins (about 1.5 to 2 lbs total)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
For the Honey Garlic Glaze:
1/3 cup honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
1. Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet or roasting dish with foil or parchment paper.
2. Season Pork: Pat the pork tenderloins dry with paper towels. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub olive oil over the tenderloins, then coat evenly with the spice blend.
3. Sear (Optional but Recommended): Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear the tenderloins for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden brown, then transfer to the baking dish.
4. Make Glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Roast & Baste: Brush a generous amount of the glaze all over the pork. Roast in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, basting with more glaze halfway through, until an internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
6. Rest & Serve: Transfer to a cutting board, spoon remaining pan glaze over the top, and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into thick rounds.
