Prep the Cleaning Wand: Take a wire coat hanger, straighten it out, and attach a microfiber cloth or glass cleaning wipe to the hook end using a rubber band.
Locate the Bottom Vents: Open the oven door slightly or look under the bottom edge of the door for small slots or ventilation slits.
Slide and Wipe: Spray your cloth with glass cleaner or a diluted dish soap solution (avoid soaking it so liquid doesn’t puddle). Slide the cloth-wrapped hanger through the slots and sweep back and forth to wipe away the streaks.
Method 2: Removing the Glass or Door Panel (Deep Clean)
Unscrew the Top Trim: Most oven doors have a top metal strip secured by two to four screws along the inner edge. Removing these lets you lift the inner glass panel right out.
Remove the Door (Alternative): On many models, you can lock the door hinges in place, lift the entire door off the oven, and lay it flat on a towel to unscrew the frame easily.
Clean and Reassemble: Spray both interior glass faces with a degreaser or glass cleaner, wipe clean, let dry completely, and screw the panel back into place.
