
Ingredients:
1 cup raw Brazil nuts (shelled)
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions:
1. Add shelled Brazil nuts, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and salt to a food processor.
2. Pulse until the nuts break down into a fine, crumbly meal resembling parmesan cheese.
3. Store in an airtight glass jar in the fridge for up to 3 weeks and sprinkle over pasta, roasted veggies, or salads.
Creamy Brazil Nut Milk
Ingredients:
1 cup raw Brazil nuts (shelled)
4 cups filtered water
1-2 dates or 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
1. Soak the Brazil nuts in water for at least 4 hours (or overnight), then drain and rinse.
2. Blend the soaked nuts, 4 cups fresh filtered water, sweetener, vanilla, and salt in a high-speed blender on high for 1 to 2 minutes until completely smooth.
3. Strain the liquid through a nut milk bag or fine cheesecloth into a pitcher, squeezing out all liquid. Serve chilled.
